This REPAY is open ISLAND WIDE to foster caregivers, out of care/kinship caregivers, and social workers!
In order to be effective at helping others, there are key communication skills that are essential to understand and apply. Communicating while helping children and youth is different than our everyday communication.
In this experiential workshop, presenter Ashleigh Martinflatt shared basic and advanced communication skills such as caring confrontation, empathy, reflective feeling statements, and more.
